I have the Core i7-6700K 4GHz CPU and it runs naturally on 4.6GHz from a BIOS setting. It is pointless to do such extreme overclocking even for gaming. Tho it is a fascination and most probably an addiction for some to see what is the possibility of the CPU or Graphics Card! I agree with whoever said it, the Core i7-6700K is an amazing CPU, most probably the best ever from Intel, but then so was the VW Beetle in 1944!(oh, sorry that wasn’t a CPU!)
