AMD has quietly revealed its new R3 lineup of Radeon-themed SSDs, which combine great value with good performance.
Superior in value and performance. Get up to 10x the speed of a traditional hard drive. Bring new life to your tired PC for far less cost than you would expect.
The R3 Series features 4 different SSD models which offer differing levels of storage and read/write speeds. Although the devices are budget-oriented, their specifications are highly competitive.
There is currently no South African pricing for the AMD Radeon R3 SSD Series.

The cheapest SSD I can find locally is the Adata Premier SP550 120Gb 2.5″ SATA6G SSD, same chipset and similar speeds to the above, going for R950.
Direct dollar conversion of the AMD Radeon R3 120GB gives you about R620 retail. Throw in another hundred and odd for shipping + handling and R750 does seem like a nice entry level price point.
