MyGaming set out to find the best consumer laptop in South Africa, and asked John Geypen, consumer lead for PC at HP. His answer was short and sweet – the HP OMEN.
According to HP, this laptop packs the power of a desktop, and offers “stunning graphics, lightning-fast processing, immersive sound, and customisable features.”
The HP OMEN features an Intel Core i7-4720HQ CPU, 16GB DDR3L SDRAM, and a 512GB M.2 SSD.
It sports an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M graphics card to feed its 15.6-inch 1,920 x 1,080 IPS LED-backlit touch screen.
Other cool features are Bang & Olufsen sound, a HP TrueVision Full HD WVA Webcam, and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2×2) and Bluetooth 4.0 combo for connectivity.
HP also promises great battery life.
“Play for hours with more performance using less power, thanks to battery optimization technology.”
