AMD has said that the Radeon RX 480 will set high benchmarks at an affordable price, with 5 TFLOPS of Peak Compute power and a MSRP of $200.

Pricing and Performance
Although a full set of specifications for the RX 480 has not been released, we have used AMD’s provided Peak Compute figures and recommended retail pricing to calculate a price-performance score, measured in GFLOPS per dollar.
The price-performance score of all GPUs is calculated using manufacturer’s suggested retail price at launch compared to reference card single-precision floating-point performance scores.

Although it doesn’t measure up to the GTX 980 Ti in terms of floating point performance, the AMD Radeon RX 480 offers a high-value GPU solution, with a score of 25 GFLOPS per dollar compared to the GTX 970’s score of 11,66 GFLOPS per dollar.
The Radeon RX 480 is a cheap and powerful GPU for Full HD and virtual reality gaming, offering significantly more performance-per-dollar than Nvidia’s Maxell GPUs.
