The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 has arrived in South Africa

Confirmation is starting to come in that Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1080 cards are now officially available for purchase and delivery in South Africa.

Pictures and supplier confirmation point to the cards being in stock at certain stores.

Raru tweeted an image of an Asus GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition graphics card, which is currently available to purchase from the online store.

The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Founders Edition will be available from 10 June, depending on retailer stock.

    If you’re in the mood for a 1080, my advice is skip the Founder’s Edition cards and wait for the overclocked / properly-cooled editions from 3rd parties.

    I’m personally waiting for the 1080Ti
