Asus recently showcased the new lighting and cooling features of its ROG hardware lineup.
Asus’ new lighting and cooling technologies are aimed at hardcore gamers and hardware enthusiasts, and are only available on high-end ROG hardware.
Check out the lighting and cooling options offered by the Rampage V Edition 10 and ROG Strix GTX 1080 OC Edition below:
ROG Strix GTX 1080 OC Edition
The ROG Strix GTX 1080 OC Edition features Aura lighting on both sides of the graphics card.
The front plate has a border of RGB lights while the back plate sports the illuminated ROG logo.
A central feature of the ROG Strix GTX 1080 OC Edition is its two FanConnect 4-pin fan headers.
These can be connected to chassis fans in order to synchronise case cooling with the fan profile of the GPU.
The ROG Strix GTX 1080 OC Edition is extremely cool, peaking at a temperature of 65 degrees under heavy load.
Asus Rampage V Edition 10
The Rampage V Edition 10 motherboard features passive Aura lighting and various safety technologies, such as reinforced PCIe slots and enhanced I/O surge protection.
The motherboard also feature Aura RGB lighting headers, which can be connected to RGB lighting strips in order to fully synchronise the user’s lighting scheme.
