First official Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 benchmarks revealed

The first official Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 performance benchmarks have leaked.

The card is releasing next week in the United States for an expected price point of $249, making it a direct competitor to AMD’s Radeon RX 480.

Early results show that the GeForce GTX 1060 is more powerful than the RX 480 across the board, but you may still want to wait for third-party benchmarks, as these benchmarks are published by Nvidia itself and exclude titles such as DOOM and Hitman.

These benchmarks appeared in Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1060 reviewer’s guide, and may not be as objective as third-party reviews.

There is currently no information regarding South African pricing or release date.
