Forget about the whole Transformers: The Movie: The Game series based off of Michael “Baysplosions” Bay’s money-printing films – Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is the follow-up to the very much Micahel Bay-less Transformers: War for Cybertron, which was actually a good game.
Fall of Cybertron allows players to experience the darkest hours of the war between the Autobots and Decepticons as they vie for control of their dying home world, playing through both sides of the Transformers’ most epic battles that culminate in their legendary exodus from Cybertron.
The third-person shooter is a chaotic, all-out battle of Autobots vs Decepticons, with customisable characters, upgradable weapons and special abilities unique to each character – featuring both a single-player campaign, as well as some multiplayer action.
Developers, High Moon Studios have the official Hasbro license in-hand, so expect an authentic Transformers experience filled with the characters you know and love – obviously Optimus Prime is going to be there, and you can bet he’ll be kicking arse.
