Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream has unveiled their next dramatic, cinematic gaming experience – Beyond: Two Souls – a PS3 exclusive.
Beyond: Two Souls features supernatural elements to highlight the dramatic psychological thriller undertone to the action. Academy Award nominee Ellen Page (Inception) stars as the main character, Jodie Holmes, and provided voice and motion capture for the role.
The story revolves around Jodie’s psychic link with an invisible entity, which grants her extraordinary supernatural powers. Jodie will apparently be trotting across the globe in her adventures, and players will be able to control both her and her psychic entity.
The title is a single-player experience and is headed for a Q4 2012 release window. Stay tuned to MyGaming for all the E3 coverage as it unfolds.
