Developer Nick Lee has created a case that will allow iPhone users to run Android operating systems.
Based off of Android’s Open Source Project, Lee created and implemented a custom version of Android’s Marshmellow onto a board.
He then 3D-printed an enclosure for the iPhone and combined the board with an additional battery in order to make a lightweight case.
He also fitted HDMI and USB ports as well as an SD card slot. The result is a slightly clunky-looking device, but one that runs Android software flawlessly on Apple hardware.
