GamingBuz claims to have gotten in touch with an ex-Modern Warfare 3 game tester who spilled the beans on some of the game’s finer details, including multiplayer perks, maps and weapons.
The apparent tester claims that although all the information he had to share was accurate at the time of the alpha testing phase, it naturally remains subject to drastic change. Furthermore, there is no way to confirm whether or not this guy was an actual tester and not just a very successful troll(olol).
According to the anonymous tester, Modern Warfare 3 in its current form includes the following multiplayer perks:
– Revelations
– Lifeline
– Pointblank
– Sleight of Hand
Apparently the Pointblank perk makes your reticule smaller, and the tester described it as “cheating in plain sight” as it allows for significantly improved accuracy.
On top of this, Modern Warfare 3 currently includes the following weapons:
– Vector
– Colt 45
– Pacer 56
Apparently the Pacer 56 does not exist yet, but is a weapon which appears in the near-future world of MW3.
The only map that the tester could confirm is called “Detour”, which is supposedly quite similar to Hotel in Black Ops. The tester also claimed that the gameplay in Modern Warfare 3 is faster than in Modern Warfare 2, and that the game introduces a brand new cover system which allows players to “hold on to cover”.
Remember kids, take this information with a handful of salt as A: the source is unconfirmed, and B: even if he is legit, it’s still early days for MW3 and the information would be subject to change.
