Konami has announced a second installment in their Silent Hill Transmission event which will take place on 30 May, 14:00 SAST on YouTube.

The announcement came via a Tweet from the official Silent Hill account and noted that the second part of the event will share game updates, a deeper look at the upcoming film, and new merchandise.

This event will therefore provide new details around the Silent Hill 2 Remake first announced in October 2022 and which is expected to release sometime in 2024.

The remake is being developed by Bloober Team, known for its Layers of Fear series and The Medium.

In addition to the remake, Konami is also working on games such as Silent Hill F, Silent Hill: Townfall, and Silent Hill: Ascension – all of these games have yet to be released.

Finally, the event will also include details on the Return to Silent Hill film.
