The worst kept secret of the year has finally been thrust into the limelight. Black Ops 2 has been demoed in front of a live audience at Microsoft’s E3 press conference.

The gameplay demo shows off the forthcoming futuristic entry and highlights some of the high-tech weaponry and gadgets featured in the game.

As mentioned previously, the weapons aren’t necessarily laser guns, but the more familiar rocket launchers and assault rifles – and will feature special abilities such as punching through cover and multi-bullet shots.

The game looks good, although maintains that Call of Duty feel that we’ve become so accustomed to.
