Unseen Return of the Jedi footage found

Even though Star Wars: Return of the Jedi released in 1983, there was a piece of the film that has never been seen, until now.

A purchaser of a rare LaserDisc version of the movie found some raw edited footage from the movie, and proceeded to post in on the internet.

The LaserDisc was bought from a seller on eBay for $699.

The footage isn’t exactly exciting, but its interesting to see the outakes and set-ups of the various scenes, such as a 60 second clip of R2-D2 repairing Luke Skywalker’s X-wing after he crashed down on Dagobah.
