Have you ever played Monopoly and thought: this game would be a whole lot better if Pikachu and Team Rocket’s hot air balloon was up for sale?
Well, Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda and Pokémon have both been confirmed for a game board incarnation – due to be released in the US in September.
The Pokémon version will have the Kanto region as its theme, and the games are expected to retail for $45.00 (R481.00) each.
This is not Nintendo’s first time partnering with arguably the most popular board game of all time, with a Nintendo Collector’s Edition of the game already available.
There is no indication, as yet, of whether they will be shipped to our shores.
