Australia looks set to get Titanfall server support

Titanfall

It looks like Australia have one-upped South Africa in more than the cricket, with local server support expected for Titanfall down-under.

Last week we wrote about how Titanfall was not coming to SA, due to poor results from online performance tests.

This is probably because Microsoft Windows Azure is used to host dedicated servers for the title – infrastructure that is not currently available in South Africa.

However, answering questions about local server support for the Aussies, Respawn Entertainment boss, Vince Zampella told Australian Titanfall fans on Twitter that he would have “good news” for them soon.

Titanfall arrives on PC and Xbox One on 13 March in Europe and Australia. The Xbox 360 version will follow at the end of the month.

With Australia looking set to receive the support South Africa did not, does this mean SA gamers will take a back seat compared to their international counterparts in the future? Let us know what you think in the comments and forum.
