While Pokémon Go has not officially launched in South Africa, that hasn’t stopped people from downloading and playing the game here.

Many have noticed that some Pokémon are just more difficult to catch than others.

Pokémon Go fans have gone through the game’s code, and analysed the data being sent back and forth between the server and client, to discover which Pokémon have the lowest chance of being caught.

There are 5 Pokémon with a 0% base capture rate. These are Legendary Pokémon which have not appeared in the game yet, though Niantic has hinted that they will make an appearance during special events.
