After recent controversial updates, it is a relief to many players that Pokemon GO will be getting some brand-new content.
According to information found in the game’s code by several Reddit users, a bunch of new features are coming to Pokemon GO in its next big update.

Trading
Data miners found phrases such as “Trade_search” and “Trade_offer” in the game’s code, meaning that players may finally be able to trade Pokemon.
Buddy Pokemon
More hidden code refers to the implementation of Buddy Pokemon, allowing players to choose a single Pokemon to follow them as they walk and collect candies automatically.
Legendary Pokemon
Even more references to Legendary Pokemon were found in the game’s code, although this time, users uncovered phrases that directly referred to players catching Legendary Pokemon.
New Incense
Niantic will allow players to use special incense that will attract certain types of Pokemon, such as ice and water types.
VR
Data miners also uncovered a VR folder in the game’s directory, along with various references to Google Cardboard and mobile VR solutions.
