Niantic and The Pokemon Company have revealed the official launch date for the Pokemon GO Plus wearable accessory.
Pokémon GO Plus is a companion device that connects to your phone over Bluetooth, allowing you to keep your phone in your pocket and go about your day-to-day activities while still collecting valuable resources and capture even the most elusive Pokémon.
As players approach a Pokestop, their Pokemon GO Plus accessory will alert them to the location by vibrating and lighting up. Trainers can also collect items from a Pokestop simply by clicking their Pokemon GO Plus wristband.
Pokémon GO Plus will be available on 16 September 2016 in most countries and later in the year in a few South American territories.
