Bayonetta 3 will launch on 28 October 2022 for Nintendo Switch, publisher Platinum Games has confirmed.
Platinum Games unveiled the launch date alongside a slue of new features and a gameplay trailer.
Bayonetta 3 will have a new “Naive Angle Mode”. which covers up scenes with partial nudity when enabled.
The tweet specifically noted that while the Naive Angel Mode is active, you’ll be able to play “right in the living room without having to worry about what’s on-screen”.
The trailer also revealed that the game will offer an entire “coven of Bayonettas” in addition to a new playable character named Viola – who is a witch trainee.
So far, it appears you’ll be fighting human-crafted bioweapons called Homunculi, and several characters from previous games will return – beyond this, we know little about the particulars of the game’s story.
