While some may seem this list as slightly premature, it’s pretty safe to say that the Wii is heading into its twilight stage ahead of the Wii U’s launch, rumoured for later this year.
With Nintendo’s focus shifting towards its forthcoming successor; it’s only fair to give the little white console its deserved praise; and that’s not to say you should stick it in your cupboard, but just take a moment to look back at some of the best games the Wii delivered.

It’s no surprise that a genuinely good 3D Mario platformer would go down well with Wii owners, as Super Mario Galaxy wasn’t just a great modern game, but it was a pure love-letter to all Nintendo fans.
The game features full 3D environments, gravitational elements of gameplay and some of the most gorgeous visuals you’ll see on Nintendo’s little console.
Super Mario Galaxy was seen as the spiritual successor to Mario 64, one of the highest-rated games of all time, but without getting cold-feet, it showed up and exceeded expectations by pushing the bar higher than anyone imagined.

I understand what you’re saying baba, but they were included in the list because they were ‘Wii editions’ of the previous games. Quite a bit of functionality was added to RE4 and Okami since their PS2 releases, so they actually deliver relatively different gameplay experiences and are considered almost a different game on it’s own.
