Nintendo’s first-ever smart device application, Miitomo, will be launching in South Africa on 30 June.
The app will be downloadable on both Google Play and the iOS App Store.
Miitomo is a free-to-start social experience that lets users spark one-of-a-kind conversations with friends in a whole new way using Mii characters.
The app launched in March in 16 countries and has already crossed more than 10 million unique users worldwide.
As part of the launch, a free Mario cap that can be used in Miitomo will be available on the My Nintendo website to all users in South Africa who have a Nintendo Account.
