How to play Overwatch, Warcraft, and Hearthstone on Facebook

29 August 2016

MyGaming recently reported on a new partnership between game developer Blizzard and Facebook.

Blizzard’s live-streaming service is now officially up and running meaning, you can play your favourite games on Facebook Live.

To sign up, simply hit the video button that should appear on the Battle.net client, or go to Settings > Streaming and enable it there.

You’ll need to connect your Battle.net account to Facebook, but once that’s done it’s as simple as hitting Ctrl+F1 once you’re in game to start streaming.

Unfortuantely the streaming is currently limited to 720P but that shouldn’t be a too big of a deal if you just want to get some light gaming in.

We also can’t help but feel that this announcement is for a reason as the next World of Warcraft expansion, Legion drops on 30 August.

The title of this post is so incorrect it’s sad. You cannot play these games on Facebook, but rather stream your game play to the platform much like Twitch, YouTube etc. Get the correct information before posting with oddball titles.
