Buying a new graphics card can always be tricky. Do you go for AMD or Nvidia? How important are things like PhysX and TressFX? What will give you the most bang for your buck?

One narrative that keeps cropping up is that while they may not be performing as well as their Nvidia counterparts now, AMD new graphics cards are more “future-proof”.

Specifically, with the implementation of Vulkan drivers in new and upcoming games we will only see these new Radeon cards perform better and better and in some cases even surpass the closest Nvidia competitors.
