More developers are working on Cyberpunk 2077 than the Witcher 3 at its peak

CD Projekt Red has stated that development on Cyberpunk 2077 is well underway, with a bigger team than the Witcher 3 ever had.

When answering shareholder questions on its official forums, the developer said that Cyberpunk 2077 development is in full swing.

“There are currently more game developers working on Cyberpunk 2077 than on The Witcher 3 in its most intensive month,” said CD Projekt Red.

There are over 100 people working on the upcoming Gwent online trading card game, with the remainder of employees working hard on Cyberpunk 2077.

The developer has been quiet regarding the release schedule for its upcoming role-playing game, saying that they will not reveal the release date until closer to launch.
