The latest Friday the Thirteenth trailer is three minutes of people being murdered

Friday the 13th

The new Friday the Thirteenth trailer is quite literally three minutes of young adults being murdered.

With no context given and a soft rock backing track, it’s either slightly distasteful or genius black humour marketing – we can’t quite decide.

Still, it does give us a good idea of what the game is about.

Friday the 13th: The Game is a third-person horror, survival game where players take on the role of a teen counselor, or for the first time ever, Jason Voorhees.

You and six other unlucky souls will do everything possible to escape and survive while the most well-known killer in the world tracks you down and brutally slaughters you.

It looks to continue the asynchronous horror multiplayer in games like The Hidden and Dead by Daylight – A game which has remained near the top of the Steam bestsellers list for over three months now.
