Revealed: The console gamers most enjoy spending time with

A new study by consumer research firm Digital Web Index has revealed which console gamers spend the most time gaming on.

The study which polled 17,990 console users how long they spend console gaming each day found that it was Xbox One and Nintendo Wii U users who dedicate the most time to this activity, clocking up a daily average of around 2 and a half hours every day.

“PS4 users then fall slightly behind on 2 hours and 15 minutes, something which is particularly notable given that it tends to outscore the other next-gen consoles for both current ownership and future purchase consideration.”

It was also revealed that on average, console gamers spend around 51 minutes playing every day.
