Everything you need to know about South Africa’s R1 million gaming tournament

The Telkom DGL Masters finals are set to kick off on 7 October, and will be hosted at rAge Expo 2016 in Johannesburg.

The Masters will consist of two tournaments, one for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and another for Dota 2.

The eight Multi Gaming Organisations taking part in the event will field teams for both games and will compete for a prize pool of R1 million.

Below are the MGOs competing in the Telkom DGL Masters Finals:

In addition to the eight biggest MGOs in South Africa, the Telkom DGL Masters tournament will also a number of quality commentators, including the world-famous Paul “Redeye” Chalonerwho will be hosting the event.

CSGO

Telkom will also be giving away over 500 5GB FreeMe data vouchers throughout the weekend as well as a lucky draw for a 20GB data voucher. This will be available to visitors to the expo that register on the DGL website.
