Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike DLC deploys on PC this week

22 March 2011

Treyarch community manager guy Josh Olin has announced on Twitter that the Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike DLC – which launched about three forevers ago on console – is dropping on PC this Friday, 25 March.

The First Strike DLC includes four new competitive multiplayer maps, as well as a new Zombies level.

The DLC is already available to preorder on Steam, and at a 10% discount for the moment too ($13.49, instead of the usual $14.99). The store’s entry describes the maps as:

“Berlin Wall” features combat on both sides of the imposing wall; “Discovery” is a desolate, frozen German outpost in Antarctica; in “Kowloon”, battle in the rain along the rooftops of a towering Chinese sprawl; “Stadium” is an intense locale with a pro hockey arena backdrop; and in “Ascension”, fight zombies in a Soviet launch facility.
