A new live action trailer for Dishonored 2 has dropped, teasing the story and supernatural powers players will experience when the game releases on 11 November.

The video, titled “Take Back What’s Yours”, shows protagonists Emily Kaldwin and Corvo Attano fighting the forces of a witch named Delilah.

Moving from throne room to the streets, Emily and Corvo tear through human and steampunk-esque machine alike with steel and magic.

An epic track plays in the background throughout, and early comments on the video can be summarised as thus:

  • What’s the name of the song?
  • When are you going to make a movie already?

We can help with one of those questions.

The song is Take It All by Ruelle, which has also been featured in the season 7 trailer of Walking Dead.

Ruelle is the nom de disque of Maggie Eckford, whose electronic songs have been featured in shows and films like The Loft, Free State of Jones, Pretty Little Liars, Grey’s Anatomy, Shadowhunters, Revenge, The Originals, and Sleepy Hollow.

After her songs began finding their way into television and film, Eckford decided to bring them all together in an EP under the new artist name “Ruelle”.

Since then Ruelle has released several albums whose songs were not written specifically for a show or movie, but have found their way there anyway.
