The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Along with a graphics overhaul and bundled DLC, Skyrim Special Edition also finally allows console gamers to download and install Skyrim mods.
To download mods for any platform, gamers can head over to Bethesda’s Skyrim Mods page, where you can filter the hundreds of mods available by platform and category in order to easily find something that interests you.
From there, you can simply select a mod, add it to your library, and install it on your respective system.
It is important to note that the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 have only 5GB and 1GB mod storage space respectively.
While the PlayStation 4’s 1GB of mod storage may seem small, PS4 users may only install mods that use in-game assets, thanks to a restriction imposed by Sony.
Xbox One and PC gamers have no such restrictions, giving them access to mods that add new weapons, armour, locations, and much more.
There is obviously no storage limit for Skyrim Special Edition mods on PC, and PC gamers can download mods through other platforms such as the Steam workshop and the Skyrim Special Edition Nexus.
