November has been quite the month for gaming.
We’ve already seen the likes of Dishonored 2, Watch Dogs 2, and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare touch down, and while there’s no big-banner blockbuster games this week, there’s a handful of exciting smaller, and re-released titles worth checking out.
Darksiders: Warmastered Edition
22 November 2016 (Xbox One, PS4, Wii U)
29 November 2016 (PC)
If you missed out on 2010’s excellent apocalyptic hack-‘n-slash Darksiders (or perhaps you just want to give it another playthrough), the award-winning action adventure game is getting a remastered edition this week.
Titled Darksiders: Warmastered Edition, the game will support 1080p/60fps on PS4 and Xbox One, although that’ll drop to 30fps on Wii U. The PC version, meanwhile, includes support for 4K resolutions and “additional visual options”.
Darksiders was one of best games of the last generation, with fun, creative gameplay, a gorgeous art-style and a compelling fantasy story.
Pokemon: Sun and Moon
23 November 2016 (3DS)
Thanks to the revamped interest from Pokémon Go, Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are gearing up to be two of the most anticipated Pokémon releases to date.
Sun and Moon introduce three new partner Pokémon that will accompany you as you set out on an all-new adventure and discover new Pokémon and regional variants in the Alola region – a brand new area in the Pokémon world.
In traditional Pokémon fashion, players will be able to catch and train Pokémon as they encounter captains, and kahunas of the 4 main Islands of the region. while also discovering the mystery of the Legendary Pokémon and stopping Team Skull from causing chaos throughout the land.
