Mass Effect: Andromeda Standard and Deluxe Editions – South African pricing

Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to release in March 2017, and it has been listed on Origin South Africa, along with its pre-order pricing.

The game is available in three editions, Standard, Deluxe, and Super Deluxe.

Pre-ordering the game will get you three unique items: Deep Space Explorer Armour, a Multiplayer Booster Pack, and a Nomad Skin.

Below are the three Mass Effect: Andromeda editions along with their contents and pricing:

Standard Edition – R999

Deluxe Edition – R1,049

  • Pre-order bonuses
  • Pathfinder Casual Outfit
  • Scavenger Armour
  • Pathfinder Elite Weapon Set
  • Pet Pyjak
  • Digital Soundtrack
  • Multiplayer Deluxe Launch Pack

Super Deluxe Edition – R1,399

  • Pre-order bonuses
  • Pathfinder Casual Outfit
  • Scavenger Armour
  • Pathfinder Elite Weapon Set

  • Multiplayer Deluxe Launch Pack
  • Multiplayer Super Deluxe Booster Packs

The only difference between the Deluxe and Super Deluxe Editions is the Multiplayer Super Deluxe Booster Packs, which have the following description on the game’s Origin page:

Own co-op play with weekly Premium Packs (for a 20-week period) that will deliver an ongoing boost to your progress.

Whether those Premium Packs are worth the extra R350 over the Deluxe Edition is entirely up to consumers.

Gamers who were planning on getting the Standard Edition can pay only an extra R50 to upgrade to the Deluxe Edition and unlock all the cosmetic and unique content it offers.

    I’m gonna take a chance…
    Loved the story of all three ME’s, but the end of ME3 leaves much to be desired.
    The gameplay was more spectacular when it wasn’t a port though….IMO
