CounterStrike: Global Offensive is now selling Glove cases for over R100

29 November 2016

Valve has introduced Glove microtransactions in the latest update to CounterStrike: Global Offensive.

The Glove Case features 17 community-designed weapon finishes, but unlike previous cases, the possible Special Items in the Glove Case are 24 all-new gloves.

At the time of writing, the average price for a Glove Case is just over R100, although this may drop or increase wildly depending on market demand.

The new update also introduces Steam lobbies to CS:GO as well as a number of additions to the Music Box library.

Valve recently faced community backlash after it began charging for the once free sprays in CS:GO, so it will be interesting to see how they take to the introduction of the new gloves.
