Battlefield 1 servers are coming to South Africa

DICE Live Producer, Alexander “Striterax” Hassoon has confirmed that South Africa will be receiving Battlefield 1 servers.

In a post published on the official Battlefield 1 forums, Hassoon confirmed that servers would likely open in the country in early 2017.

Hi All,

I am very happy to announce that we will be deploying official DICE online game servers for the following regions in early 2017:

South Africa
Middle East
Hong Kong

These are but the first steps in our ongoing effort to keep supporting Battlefield 1 and our community.

It has not yet been confirmed if this will apply to both the PC and console versions of the game.

    It HAS been confirmed that servers will be for all platforms.
