Eurogamer has officially confirmed the dates for the Steam Winter sale.

The sale will begin on 22 December and will run up until 2 January 2016, making it one of the longer sales in recent memory.

With Black Friday just wrapping up and the last sale only concluding this past week our wallets are beginning to feel the pinch, but there are already of couple of games we will be keeping an eye out for.

In addition to the dates, the folks at Eurogamer also pointed out this long forgotten gem reminding us of the magic of Steam’s Christmas sales:
