Valve brings official DualShock 4 compatibility to Steam

Valve has introduced official DualShock compatibility to Steam in the platform’s latest API update.

In order to gain access to the update you need to completely shut-down Steam and then restart the program.

According to the update’s official changelog a number of new features in addition to DulaShock 4 support have been added, including the ability to map the controller’s trackpad interface and motion-sensing gyroscope to any keyboard, mouse, or x-input action.
