Codemasters has announced the official system requirements for Dirt 3, which is set for release later this month.
Dirt 2 was, and still is, an absolutely gorgeous game, capable of bringing even current mid-range graphics cards to their knees.

So what will you need to just be able to boot up Dirt 3? Well at the very least:
Minimum system requirements
– OS: Microsoft Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7
– CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 2.8 GHz, Intel Pentium D 2.8 GHz
– RAM: 2 GB
– HDD: 15 GB
– Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 2000 256 MB, Geforce 8000 Series 256 MB
Of course you will want to get the best out of the game, so if you have a gaming PC that is roughly in line with the following, then you should be smiling.

– DirectX 11
– Operating system: Windows Vista or Windows 7
– CPU: AMD Phenom II or Intel Core i7
– RAM: 3 GB
– Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6000 series
