Samsung and Mettlestate launch R1-million gaming tournament

Samsung has partnered with local eSports studio Mettlestate to host a R1-million gaming tournament in South Africa.

The competition features 24 of South Africa’s top Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams competing for the grand prize – the biggest ever for a single eSports title in South Africa.

The tournament is already underway.

The Samsung Galaxy CS: GO Championship is hosted by Mettlestate and Twitch, and the grand final will take place on 7 May 2017.

eSports fans can watch the competition live on Mettlestate via YouTube or Twitch.
