THQ Nordic has announced that Darksiders 3 is under development and scheduled for release next year.
Darksiders 3 sees players take on the role of Fury, one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse – armed with a whip and magical abilities.
The in-game world will be an “open-ended, living, free-form planet Earth dilapidated by war and decay”.
Darksiders 3 will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Yawn. I love the Franchise, but that trailer was super boring. Nothing in it has sparked my interested. I hope the gameplay trailers provide more of a bang. BTW, how does she fight in those heels!
