This year’s Summer X Games will include Rocket League

3 July 2017

The 2017 Summer X Games will host a $75,000 Rocket League tournament in Minneapolis.

The FACIT Rocket League Invitational will take place from 14-16 July and will be streamed live on ESPN.

Rocket League’s eSports competition will be held alongside main events and will be part of the X Games festival village – which features musical acts and other interactive events.

“Adding eSports and Rocket League to that line-up is something we at Psyonix are very excited about,” said Rocket League’s developers.

“We can’t wait to bring this competition to a whole new audience.”
