Rugby 18 release date leaked

Rugby 18 is on the way, but there’s still no definitive release date for the anticipated rugby title.

That said, we have had some developments on the retail front, with more than one retailer adding the release date of 20 October 2017 to their product pages.

Of course, this must be taken with a grain of salt, as often retailers add placeholder dates to their websites prior to announcements from publishers being made. On the other side of the coin, these sometimes prove correct as retailers have internal information from the publishers and often leak release date information prematurely.

Whichever it is, we’e quite excited for Rugby 18, and publisher Big Ben Interactive recently released a “making of” trailer, which gave some insight into the commentary and a few snippets of gameplay.

Rugby 18 is being showcased at Gamescom in September, so expect some more news then.

Im quite keen for this but the players look so generic. Wish they could get FIFA level of detail.

that’s all i’ve ever wanted. There’s something about fifa and pes quality that works. I’ve worked on the Rugby Manager releases years ago and back then it was super difficult watching the techies trying to get the nuances right…..
