GrapeOcean Technologies and V Publishing have announced that Black Geyser: Couriers of Darkness will officially launch on Steam and GoG on 17 March for $34.99 (R528.96).
The old-school CRPG, inspired by Icewind Dale and Baldur’s Gate, entered Early Access in August 2021 and in August 2021 and has since gone through over 20 major updates based on player feedback.
Black Geyser now includes Mac and Linux support and features challenging real-time tactical combat that allows you to pause at any time, over 300,000 words of dialogue, deep lore, and memorable companions.
Players will have the choice of customizing their hero from five different races and 13 class types while exploring an open world filled with unique enemies and bosses.
The game’s open-world maps include Isilmerald and Northern Realm, and feature dozens of districts, settlements, villages, and towns – each with a variety of new characters, creatures, and biomes.
Black Geyser will also feature a unique greed mechanic, which means your character’s actions will directly impact the world around you.
There will be an abundance of crafting to do and spells to master, while the storyline promises to give you a greater sense of character progression.
