Bethesda’s upcoming RPG Starfield has confirmed that the companion feature of Fallout 4 will be incorporated into the game.
Bethesda Game Studios revealed this on Starfield’s official Twitter page in the form of a short video, which introduced a small robotic character named Vasco.
Vasco is described as a “companion” character in Starfield, which seems to imply that they’ll be able to travel all over the galaxy with the player character.
Companions were a feature last seen in Fallout 4 and it was popular with its fans, as the game allowed players to travel with characters like Codsworth, Dogmeat, and Nick Valentine.
The unveiling of Vasco implies that there will be several more companions in Starfield, and confirms that the upcoming title will have a lot in common with Bethesda’s previous games – even if it’s incorporated into the game in a new way.
Bethesda has been very tight-lipped when it comes to the gameplay of Starfield, so this information was welcomed by fans.
Starfield is still set to be released on Xbox and PC on 11 November 2022.
