Diablo Immortal to launch in June

26 April 2022

Blizzard has announced that Diablo Immortal will launch for mobile and PC on 2 June.

Diablo Immortal’s PC launch will be an open beta test, which you can pre-register for now.

The action RPG will be free-to-play on PC, and it will support cross-progression and cross-play between PC and mobile.

In a blog post, Blizzard has reassured the Diablo fanbase that it will stay true to the Diablo experience by incorporating the traditional PC controls that players are familiar with.

The developers have also added WASD controls for movement, key-rebinding options, and controller support.

Blizzard has warned veterans that the mobile port will “feel a little different from other PC Diablo games” as it’s an ongoing experiment.

It is not surprising that Blizzard chose to port Diablo Immortal to PC since the game’s initial 2018 mobile-exclusive announcement was met with discontent from the Diablo community.

Regarding Blizzard’s other AAA projects, the company has stated that neither Diablo IV nor Overwatch 2 will launch in 2022.
