Gotham Knights will now support 4-player co-op, as indicated by a change to the game’s PlayStation Store page.
The change was initially spotted two days ago by Reddit user SuspiciousTension19.
The developers had previously said that the game would only support single-player and 2-player co-op, and the game’s description still states that players can “Patrol Gotham’s five distinct boroughs in solo-play or with one other hero.”
Gotham Knights was initially set to release last year, but on 19 March 2021, Warner Bros. delayed the title’s launch, and it will now release on 25 October 2022.
Warner Bros. stated that the delay was to “give the game more time to deliver the best possible experience for players,” which might explain the change to include 4-player co-op.
We’ll probably get more details on the upcoming open-world action RPG during the Summer Game Fest, which will start on 9 June.
