Dark Souls 3 players have organised a community PVP tournament through a private server that will take place on 22 May. This follows Dark Souls 3’s servers being taken down due to the presence of an RCE exploit.
While Bandai Namco has indicated they fully intend to bring the servers back, online players have taken matters into their own hands with private servers.
These private servers use the Blue Sentinels anti-cheat mod, a player-made answer to the long-standing RCE exploit, and offer a complete Dark Souls 3 online experience.
The upcoming tournament will require you to have the Blue Sentinels mod installed and have the latest version of the Dark Souls 3 Open Server project downloaded from Github.
The final step is to join the Dark Souls 3 Open Server Discord (here is a link that will be valid until the day of the tournament) and react to moderator River’s message if you want to enter.
The tournament will take place at 4 PM SAST, and there are no restrictions on Soul Level.
Be sure to check the rules for the tournament on the Discord server if you’re interested in participating.
