Activision has confirmed that the Call of Duty Warzone Season 3 Reloaded release date has been set for Wednesday, 25 May.
As part of this launch, two patches will be released over the course of today and tomorrow to unify the Warzone and Vanguard titles.
These updates will go live at the times and dates given below:
- Vanguard update — May 24 at 19:00 SAST
- Warzone Season 3 Reloaded update — May 25 at 18:00 SAST.
Players can expect a new travel system, perk, and various new items from these updates.
The new underground transit system will consist of 14 access points, which players can find using the new vault door symbol on the minimap — making your travel time around Caldera a little faster.
Additionally, ‘Serpentine’ – a perk that was previously exclusive to Vanguard – will be coming to Warzone and will offer protection from snipers and other projectiles.
This perk will be available in the Perk 1 slot for all players and will reduce incoming damage from bullets, explosives, and fire by 20%.
As for players that encounter an enemy that is equipped with Serpentine, a ‘snake’ indicator will appear after hitting someone with the perk — giving you feedback that you may need to follow up with an additional shot.
The Season 3 update will also feature new items which include the Gulag Entry Token, Redeploy Extraction Token, Speed Boost, and the Radar Jammer.
The most notable item is the Redeploy Extraction Token, which will allow players to automatically redeploy without visiting the Gulag or having to be brought back at a Buy Station.
There will, however, be limitations to when this token can be used.
