The major reveals from Warhammer Skulls 2022

The Warhammer Skulls event for 2022 aired yesterday evening, and in addition to sales and discounts across platforms, there were several new details and reveals for coming titles.

Below, we listed the major announcements and reveals for Warhammer and provided their trailers.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide story trailer

Darktide is among the most hotly anticipated Warhammer titles and is set to release in three months.

The game from the developers of Vermintide 1 and 2 got a story trailer during the event, and in it, you can get a better idea of what horror you’ll face and the classes you can play as come September.

Developer Fatshark has also promised gameplay footage will be released next week at the Summer Games Fest.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader reveal trailer

Rogue Trader – a new title from Owlcat Games, the developers of the popular Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – has received a reveal trailer.

The new game promises to allow players to embark on a journey into the darkest reaches of the Imperium and is the first-ever cRPG game set in 40k.

No release date has been shared for the new title.


Total War: Warhammer 3 – Immortal Empires teaser trailer

While not a new game or a paid DLC, the Immortal Empires map will attempt to revitalize Warhammer 3 after its rough launch.

The Immortal Empires map will allow owners of all three games to enjoy a massive sand-box experience where all the factions in the series can compete against each other.

This, combined with Warhammer 3’s enhancements to its multilayer systems, will make the new map a hit when it releases – provided it isn’t too buggy.


Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun reveal trailer

An unexpected reveal for the event Boltgun harkens back to the days of 40k 2nd edition and sprite-based shooters.

Boltgun is being developed by Auroch Digital and will offer a single-player fps experience dripping with charm and nostalgia in addition to the guns and gore you’d expect from a 40k game.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun is coming to PC and consoles next year.


Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine behind the scenes trailer

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is often regarded as one of the greatest Warhammer games ever released, and its combat and characters have become legendary in the community.

Getting more content revealed for its sequel is therefore extremely exciting.

No release date has yet been revealed for Space Marine 2.


Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge

A new 40k card game, Warpforge, will offer fast-paced battles featuring iconic characters from the universe and allow you to craft your perfect army.

Warpforge will release on PC next year, with other platforms to follow.


Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood, and Teef announcement trailer

Shootas, Blood, and Teef is a fast-paced shoot ‘em up title that uses a side-scrolling format.

Players will blast their ways through maps by fighting everything from humans and other Orks to Genestealer cultists.

A demo of the title is now available on Steam.


Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector DLC announcement

Battlesector is already out, but it was revealed that the title would be getting another playable faction.

The game’s new DLC will introduce the Adepta Sororitas to the game allowing the player to take command of the elite Battle Sisters of the group alongside a range of other new units such as Immolator Tanks and Exorcists.

No release date for the DLC has been revealed.


Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Chaos Wastes Update

The beloved Vermintide 2 will be getting another update to its Chaos Wastes game mode that will introduce the influence of Be’lakor, a Demon Prince and master of terror and illusion.

This will involve two new curses for the game mode – Shadow Skulls and Shadow Totems – and will allow you to challenge his Shadow Lieutenants, the Champions of Be’lakor.

Along with this, the update will add new boons and weapon traits.

The update will drop on 14 June.


Blood Bowl 3 PC Beta

Blood Bowl is the famous sports Warhammer fantasy game that sets teams of characters against each other in sports matches, and its third entry has received a Beta.

The Beta will run from 1 June to 12 June on PC.


Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters Accolades trailer

Chaos Gate is among the more recent Warhammer games to be released, and its challenging and XCOM-like combat has made it a fast favourite among players.

The developers of Chaos Gate have released an Accolades trailer to celebrate the title’s success, and each player will receive an exclusive item: the Ward Osseus Warding Staff.

The developers have also started a competition to win a Chaos Gate themed PC.


Warhammer 40,000: Gladius DLC release trailer

Gladius is getting a free-to-try week during the Skulls festival and will also have its DLC discounted.

A new DLC has been released for the Escalation Pack strategy title that adds fan favourite units such as the Megatrakk Scrapjets for Orks, Skitarii Rangers for the Adeptus Mechanicus, Hive Guards for Tyranids, and more.

They also released a roadmap video for the game.
