Sony launching new gaming devices for PC eSports

29 June 2022

Sony has announced the launch of two new lines of devices designed for PC players in the eSports sector.

This new brand will be known as Inzone and will include five different products for gamers – two monitors and three headsets.

While designed for PC players, this new gear will still be PS5 compatible.

The monitors promise high-definition, crisp visuals, while the headsets aim to provide high-quality audio that will immerse you in your games.

“We packed all our audio video know-how into these Inzone products. We want to start by pursuing serious PC gamers,” said Shuichi Mogitani, a general manager at Sony Marketing.

The two monitors are 27-inch with PS5-specific features such as automatic picture adjustment.

One screen will be a 4K model, while the other will have a lower resolution in exchange for a 240Hz refresh rate.

This new gear will go on sale on 8 July, with the headsets ranging from $99.99 to $299.99. The pricing of the monitors is not yet available.

Each headset will offer 360-spatial sound technology and will be compatible with the PS5.

The three headsets and the 4K model will go on sale on 8 July, with the other monitor will release later in 2022.
